Bio
I am a Sydney based artist. My love for art stems from early life experiences, with both parents being creatives. My art is influenced by reflections on daily life, the poetry I find in the beauty and mystery of nature, whether that be faces or flowers, landscapes or seascapes. My style varies from figurative to expressionist, sometimes even semi abstract or with a touch of the surreal.
I always hope to evoke a response, make a connection with the viewer in some way. A simple vase of flowers can even trigger emotions or realisation of some basic truth. This is what makes us human, why we create or seek out art. I want my painting to touch something in your heart, maybe a thought you have suppressed or forgotten, taking you on a journey.
